Claude has 4 goals: Change Fodlan, justice for foreign nations, protect Leicester's independence and end Edelgard's war for conquest.

Dimitri and Rhea have already changed their territory and righted their wrongs of their factions for 2 years straight while Edelgard keeps oppressing Brigid and is responsible for the latter 2 problems.

Edelgard keeps Brigid vassalized because of her racist subjects, Dimitri fights to decolonize Duscur and give them reperations despite his racist subjects disapproval.

Dimitri and Rhea are his allies and Edelgard is his enemy.

The problem with GW is that it functions on the lie that Rhea keeps Fodlan stagnant and needs to be killed.

As a result Claude hasn't achieved a single goal, shot himself in the foot, causes more bloodshed and made it easy for Edelgard to conquer Fodlan all because of bad and contrived writing.

Golden Wildfire is an objective failure and injustice to Claude's character and the only people that argue otherwise are Edelgard fans that don't care for Claude.

And no amount of willfull idiocy and illogical arguments is gonna change that simple fact

okay, but it's the way that listening to songs sometimes reminds me of these random OC's that i have come up with over the years though JSJSJ like i have nottt thought of this one in a WHILE... but i once had an OC named ilias whose parents basically had a dream related to wealth due to his birth + so they took it as a prophecy because they always wished to have money as they lived in poverty for as long as they could remember. thus, they were superrr overprotective of him growing up to the point of obsession because they started seeing him as like their 'savior' in a way. and at the age of like six years old, he ended up developing the 'midas touch' or the ability to turn things into gold with a touch except he ALSO couldn't turn it off like midas + it only started with small things like insects at first but then spread to things like people and animals being turned into gold by his touch?

and that is SO incredibly sad whenever i think about it?? but also, IDK... i think i might've been cooking slightly whenever i thought of this idea. not to brag or anything, of course LOL buttt the commentary i could be using this kind of story for related to how capitalism is horrible and how greed can quickly overpower people is something i'd definitely be interested in now, i think. but SKSKS if y'all have any thoughts about this, then please feel free to comment them below because i'd love to hear them :)

The fear that festers inside of me at the urge of wanting to really big worldbuilding with the Dust AUs, but not wanting to expand so much that the creators are like: "Nu-uh. Arian/Anti, I don't like that."

Worldbuilding is definitely one of my favourite things to do, but there's always the worry that other will inform me that, no, that isn't the way that would work

Like I'm assuming quite a lot of things about the AUs in that post, because my brain is informing me that yes, Dust AU = Everyone dead.

That may not always be the case though

heisenberg's team was honestly one of the easiest i've put together thus far. i started getting ideas for his lineup the very second this ask was sent in, it just took me a while before i actually got around to making it. aggron was a MUST have pokemon, no questions asked. perrrserker was a last minute choice, but i think it's a perfect choice. it just?? it looks like a mini heisenberg, scruffy beard and maniacal nature, all squished into one tiny little terrifying cat.

his role also came to me quite easily. he's an elite four member alongside his other siblings. and of course, he specializes in the steel type. i imagine the order of the fights would be the same as in game, with dimitrescu being the first, and then eventually, heisenberg would be the final one before you face the "champion", miranda. and of course, his ace, mega metagross, an absolute power unit that will pound your entire team into dust if you don't take it out quickly.

After working long and hard on it, I've finally put all my effort into making my very first custom promo for this blog. It took many hours, and honestly I don't know if I can ever be prepared to do something like this ever again.

Honestly I'm not the best at this sorta stuff, but I'm giving it a shot and seeing how things end up. Honestly? I'm pretty proud and this is going to be my magnum opus on this blog. Nothing ever will compare to this, nor has it ever compared before.

i don't know if ed's heritage was ever revealed tbh. i have NOT read any of the new comics in probs like more than a year now. but liiiike. it just feels too... obvious? too generic? 'cos he's a man in a green suit with a bowler hat... let's just make him look as irish as possible......

i like eddie with sideburns, but they don't have to make the sideburns mutton chops. and honestly, i prefer brunette eddie most.

also i just don't care for modern eddie in comics rn. for the most part it feels like current writers have no clue how to really do him. he's either too comedic / wacky or he's too srs & quiet & "calculative". it's like for some reason writers can't understand that ed doesn't have to be one extreme or the other, that he can be both fun & a bad guy that can be taken seriously. and he just. bores me now.
